3 easy ways to shoot more content that you LOVE!

May 8, 2018

I understand first-hand how hard it can be to create imagery or content that you LOVE. Understandably, as you grow as a photographer, you begin to understand your style more clearly, and you want to show more work that is “ideal”. So you are probably wondering exactly how to go about doing that.

Here are some easy tips that will help you create more imagery content that you LOVE and attracts more ideal clients that love it as well:

1. Plan a styled shoot – work with a planner who would be willing to help you map out a styled shoot that speaks directly to who you are as a photographer. Find models and offer imagery in return for their time and modeling for the styled session.

2. Pro-bono work with partnered vendors/businesses– Are there other businesses or brands that you absolutely LOVE?! Maybe you wish you could shoot for/with them…wellllll, why not just reach out and shoot your shot! Offer a pro-bono shoot with them where you create content that you’ve dreamt of. As a result, this will also offer them stunning imagery that they will be able to use and promote.

3. Complimentary sessions for ideal clients in ideal shooting scenarios – Envision what your ideal clients look like and find that person! Offer a “complimentary” session to them under your own terms (time, date, location) That way you can create imagery that helps to define what your ideal shooting scenarios would be.
