Courtney and Chris’s Rooftop Cleveland Wedding

When Courtney and Chris sat across from one another at a dental conference luncheon, they had no idea that their lives were about to change forever.  Three months after that conference, they unexpectedly reunited at a dental conference in Las Vegas, beginning a beautiful love story. I was SO honored to have been their wedding photographer for such a beautiful affair! Here are few of my favorites from their big day!

Courtney and Chris’s vintage glam wedding was inspired by The Great Gatsby, a favorite of Courtney.  The couple was married during a rooftop ceremony surrounded by friends and family at Metropolitan at the 9 in Cleveland, Ohio.

Courtney walked down the aisle in her dream dress from Bridal Reflections. Her gorgeous mermaid style gown featured a sweetheart neckline, very intricate and beautiful beading and a custom detachable skirt train. The vintage glam theme continued with Chris’s ivory tuxedo jacket and his dapper groomsmen’s tuxes.

The Metropolitan at the 9 was the perfect venue for the couple’s vintage glam reception! With touches of pale rose, diamond, black and gold, wedding guests were transported to a glamorous 1920’s gala. Chris designed a perfect logo for the couple’s wedding, which was featured on the wedding invites as well as on the dance floor, that added to the ambiance of the evening. How cute!

In keeping with the gala feel of the reception, guests were served individual chocolate raspberry ganache or red velvet mini cakes lieu of a traditional wedding cake. DJ Warren Peace kept the music going all night long, and guests danced, laughed and talked the night away.

It was truly a magical night for the couple!

This wedding is so special to me for so many reasons – one main one being that Courtney and I are linesisters of AKA. I’ve known Courtney from the day we stepped foot on Howard’s campus and am SO blessed to have such a loving and sweet friendship with her. Capturing her day was so very emotional for me – but I believe I did it it’s complete justice! It was an absolute pleasure to be a part of Courtney and Chris’s special day. May they have a lifetime of happiness and love!!

PS – Check out their Munaluchi feature here! Loving all of their images so much! <3
